St Cuthbert's Conversations

In 2019 Waymarking was invited to work with the Parochial Parish Council (PCC) of St Cuthbert’s Church in Miles Platting, Manchester, to explore initial possibilities for regenerating the church as a community facility with a new place of worship.

 

Through site visits, workshops, meetings and desk-based research Waymarking analysed the site, surrounding neighbourhood, the area’s history, current needs and relevant local policy – and wrote an options appraisal and recommendations report, completed in 2020.

 

The report is being used as the foundation for further conversations about the regeneration of the church between the PCC and local community members.
