Co-creating healthy,
thriving and
resilient places

High Streets & Communities
As part of our mission to guide people in their neighbourhoods to co-create healthier, thriving and resilient places, we’re currently focusing on developing new models for communities to partner with businesses and organisations, to take action together, to revitalise struggling shopping parades and high streets.
Waymarking can equip partnership with tools, resources and processes to identify assets and issues, explore needs and effectively find solutions to reimagine the high street.
Solutions which:
-
Positively address the character, history and distinctiveness of a high street
-
Support unique collaborations
-
Respond innovatively to the high street as a public space
-
Recognise the high street’s vital role in health, wellbeing and the environment
-
And crucially to achieve an economically thriving and resilient high street
Recently we’ve been having conversations about developing new models for Cheadle Heath’s (Stockport), high street and surrounding neighbourhood, in collaboration with social enterprises MakeBuildGrow and The Goodness Collective.
