Sue Ball

Sue Ball is director of Media & Arts Partnership (MAAP), a leading public art consultancy that creates opportunities for artists to work in partnership with a diverse range of public and private sector organisations within the context of city regeneration. www.maap.org.uk

Creative projects focus on bridging the gaps between disciplines to engender new ways of thinking about places, peoples and the spaces we occupy.

Sue has been working in the arts and new media fields for over 15 years and has extensive experience of initiation and project management of large scale arts and technology programmes in non-gallery settings, research and evaluation of arts and media and public art strategy development.

Recent public arts projects include; The Neville Street scheme, lead by Bauman Lyons Architects with Arup and Halcrow, and commissioned by Leeds City Council with artist Hans Peter Kuhn and raising funds from the Northern Way (a consortium of three Regional Development Agencies) to facilitate the installation of the work, all PR and marketing activities, and an associated education and interpretation programme, in partnership with Sonic Arts Network.
